EMHC Futurity has been extended to Year 3.
Year three being the performance year. A buy in available for 2008 only, after 2008 the 3yo option will be and extension of the yearling, 2yo halter program.

3yo Futurity nominations for a horse that was not sustained as a yearling and a two year old will be $130, with a $50 penalty fee as part of that buy in to be eligible for the Futurity performance classes in 2008. The classes offered to the futurity performance horse will be Hunter and Driving. You may enter either or both classes.

Futurity Requirements:

Open to members only
Registration form must be received by the Futurity Administrator by January 30, 2008. This year only due to the lateness of the availability of the new Futurity Work Order. After 2008 the December 31 due date will be reinstated. See Below.
Foals nominated must be born during 2008. Except for the 3yo Performance buy-in this year only. See above for fee schedule.

The Registration Certificate may be transferred to a new owner-however, the new owner must become a member of the club prior to entering the horse in the futurity class at a show.

In a continuing effort to simplify the paperwork and payment schedule the following was discussed at the November meeting, voted on and passed.

Payment Schedule:
In Utero - year mare was bred	$ 5.00 due by December 31st of year nominated
Weanling year	$10.00 due by December 31st of weanling year
Yearling year	$15.00 due by March 15th of year being shown
Two year old	$25.00 due by March 15th of year being shown
Three year old Performance horse	$25.00 due by March 15th for each division the horse will be shown in

In addition to the fees shown in the payment schedule above $25 of the class entry fee will go toward the Futurity payout. The Club will take 10% of the fees for expenses and administration costs.

There will no longer be a Futurity certificate issued when horse is nominated. In it’s place when payment is made to the Futurity Administrator (FA) a receipt will be returned to the member nominating the horse. The FA will keep a database of payments.

Prior to showing the horse in the yearling futurity, the nominated foal’s name and AMHR registration number must be submitted to the FA. A certificate will be issued at this time.

Futurity Class Payout:
1st Place 50%	2nd Place 25%	3rd Place 15%	4th Place 10%
The Payment Receipts and/or Futurity Certificate is your proof of eligibility for the horse listed and your receipt for payment of fees. It will be the owners responsibility to make the correct payments on time in order to join and sustain a horse in Evergreen Miniature Horse Club Futurity Program.
